The SEO Team The SEO team focuses on delivering best-in-class practices and forms the foundation of the agency’s services. It is currently the largest department in the UK and plays a pivotal role in building strong client relationships while collaborating with broader marketing teams. Role Overview The Technical SEO Consultant will take a leadership role in designing and implementing advanced technical SEO strategies to help clients achieve outstanding search visibility and performance. Acting as a trusted advisor, the consultant will prioritize and execute impactful recommendations aligned with client objectives and timelines. This role also involves driving technical innovation, supporting new business pitches, and serving as a thought leader on industry trends.
The position sits within the SEO team, with a primary focus on delivering high-quality Technical SEO initiatives while working closely with SEO Directors to ensure strategic alignment. This is a full-time role requiring two days per week in the office (London, Brighton, or Cardiff). Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not currently available.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement advanced technical SEO strategies tailored to client requirements.

Identify, prioritize, and address technical SEO opportunities to drive measurable outcomes.

Conduct comprehensive site audits and provide actionable recommendations to enhance site health.

Collaborate with developers and content teams to implement SEO best practices.

Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Monitor site performance proactively and suggest ongoing technical improvements.

Provide expert guidance on complex technical challenges, including site migrations, structured data implementation, and international SEO (e.g., hreflang).

Stay informed on industry trends and tools, sharing insights with clients and internal teams.

Mentor junior team members, fostering knowledge-sharing and technical development.

Enhance the technical SEO product offering to maintain its industry-leading position.

Deliver detailed technical SEO audits and strategies in an accessible and client-friendly manner.

Tailor presentations to suit the audience, ranging from technical stakeholders to broader client teams.
