Purpose:
A leading company is seeking a new SEO Manager to join their Search team. The SEO Manager will act as the primary SEO strategist, ensuring client objectives are met and maintaining high standards of work. Additionally, the role includes mentoring the team, handling complex projects, and contributing to the development of the search department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement enterprise-level SEO strategies to achieve client goals.
- Create and manage a pipeline of innovative SEO tasks to enhance accounts.
- Lead client meetings and calls as the SEO expert on the account.
- Stay updated with industry developments and share insights with the team and clients.
- Oversee the personal development of SEO analysts through 1:1 meetings and tailored development plans.
- Mentor analysts to build their SEO expertise and resolve team challenges.
- Ensure all analyst work meets high-quality standards.
- Provide top-level performance insights to clients and identify growth opportunities.
- Participate in a virtual team to develop specific areas of Search, including creating new processes and best practices.

Person Specification:
Experience & Core Skills:
- Proven team leader with the ability to mentor and develop a team of analysts.
- Expertise in creating industry-leading SEO strategies.
- Experience in developing processes and ways of working within an SEO team.
- Extensive knowledge of technical optimization, content optimization, link management, data analysis, and SEO tools.
- Advanced keyword research techniques, including question-based searches, semantic search, and beyond conversion point queries.
- Proven track record of delivering SEO results through effective strategies.
- Experience collaborating with PPC experts to create holistic search strategies.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Exceptional time-management skills.
- AdWords certification is a plus.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Confident public speaker with presentation skills.
- Proficiency with various third-party SEO tools and analytics packages.
