Senior Programmatic Trader

Salary range from £50,00 to £55,000

London, Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office

 

Our client are an AdTech business with AI at it’s core.  They fully invested into AI years before AI was the next big thing.  They were ahead of the curve then and continue to be now.

 

You will join an award winning team of traders as well as industry leaders across the wider business.

 

They’re hiring for a Senior Programmatic Trader to join the tea

 

The role:

 

  • Develop, execute, and optimise programmatic advertising campaigns across DSPs (Demand Side Platforms).
  • Manage day-to-day trading operations, including bid adjustments, budget management, and performance monitoring.
  • Analyse campaign performance data to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand campaign objectives and translate them into effective trading strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other forms of experimentation to improve campaign performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the adoption of innovative strategies.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior traders and other team members.
  • Participate in client meetings to present campaign results and insights.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to campaign performance or technical setup.

 

Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in programmatic trading or digital media buying.
  • In-depth knowledge of DSPs such as Google DV360, The Trade Desk, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills.
  • A proactive and collaborative attitude.
