I am working in partnership on an exciting new ‘Senior Marketing Manager’ position within the publishing space.

Business Overview:

  • Operate out of a shared office space in the heart of West London, Notting Hill

Duties:

  • To recommend and implement a robust marketing strategy/plan to maintain the rapid growth of the platform
  • Be the brand guardian ensuring consistency in comms, user journey, creative and marketing collateral
  • To deliver the forecasted growth volume of newsletter sign ups within budget
  • Responsible for the email marketing platform to manage development requests and features, analyse and report on data, organise reader surveys, win back campaigns and liaise with support team as needed.
  • Managing agencies and partners to drive newsletter growth and awareness.
  • Working closely with the publisher on growth tactics, marketing and newsletter optimisations.
  • Managing the website and app management including branding, design, UX and marketing content
  • Organising and managing marketing activity such as sponsorships and collaborations within the budget provided
  • Providing support to the Advertising Director including brand placements and reporting on KPIs
  • Presenting clear data to the management team with recommendations for growth and optimisations  
  • Managing and growing social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook)
  • Keeping the brand focused by working with designers and copywriters.

About you:

  • You’re a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys going beyond your remit and is a fast learner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Intermediate understanding of Google Analytics desirable.
  • ESP experience essential.
  • Newsletter experience – essential
  • Basic understanding of InDesign and Photoshop desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
