Senior Business Development Manager - Team Lead

Salary: £65k - £75k base + 100% OTE

The Company:

A cutting-edge, fast-growing audio advertising platform revolutionizing how brands connect with their audiences. Known for innovation and effectiveness, they are seeking a Senior Sales Team Lead to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a thriving, creative environment.

The Role:

As the Senior Sales Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and leading a high-performing sales team. This is a hybrid role combining strategic leadership with hands-on sales, making it ideal for a player-coach who excels in both guiding and doing.

Team Management:

  • Oversee the EMEA sales team to ensure quarterly targets are achieved.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews to ensure the team meets set KPIs.
  • Lead weekly and monthly EMEA sales team meetings.

Revenue Growth:

  • Drive advertising revenues by selling a pioneering in-game audio offering.
  • Build and sustain relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and direct clients, including programmatic channels.

Campaign Execution:

  • Collaborate with multiple agency departments, including buying, strategy, communications planning, radio, digital, programmatic, gaming, and innovation teams, to deliver successful campaigns.

Relationship Management:

  • Nurture relationships with complex partners at multiple levels.

Sales Performance:

  • Achieve key sales and revenue goals, driving revenue as an individual contributor.

Requirements:

  • Over 6 years of sales experience within media, digital, or audio sales.
  • Experience dealing with Tier 1 agencies, Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), and Agency Trading Desks (ATDs) in the UK and across Europe.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads and build new sales pipelines.
  • Ability to negotiate and close complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.

Nice to haves

  • Advanced knowledge of the digital audio and mobile gaming ecosystem.
  • Experience in the gaming industry, specifically selling to mobile gaming clients.
  • Previous experience working in a scale-up (rapidly growing) company environment.
