Pivotal are working in an exclusive partnership with an exciting luxury travel business who are undergoing a major digital transformation and is looking for a Marketing Effectiveness Manager .

As a world leading conservation and hospitality company, they are the proud custodians of our planet's most significant wild places, which have been carefully chosen to be part of the collection for a specific purposes. Which are all linked to protecting the land and life that exists there.

The conservation flywheel gives them the opportunity to reinvest profits, providing support to schooling, water and food projects in Africa.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Will lead on marketing effectiveness across the group - optimising performance, capturing demand, and driving growth across all digital channels and brands.
  • Responsible for analysing spend and channel performance holistically to allocate budgets effectively
  • Will be tasked with resolving current inefficiencies — notably, the brands are competing against each other in paid search auctions.
  • Expected to set intelligent bid strategies and define max CPCs at keyword level, tailored by brand and channel.
  • Should be confident navigating competitor bidding landscapes, understanding the relationship between search inventory, volumes, and conversion rates, and using data to forecast seasonal shifts and performance outcomes.
  • Will use data modeling to plan future performance scenarios — for example, understanding the commercial impact when each brand holds position #1, #2, or #3 in paid search results.

 

Ideal Profile

  • Brings experience in Performance marketing but indexes heavily in PPC, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Demonstrates strong commercial acumen and understands how to connect marketing investment with revenue growth.
  • Ability to connect marketing performance with financial outcomes.
  • Communicates confidently and is comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, multi-brand environments, ideally with experience in scale-up or high-growth businesses where they have visibility of campaign impact on business performance.
