Position Overview
A leading organisation is seeking an experienced and visionary professional to assume the role of Head of Social, responsible for advancing and expanding the UK’s Paid Social proposition. This strategic position entails collaborating with Tier 1 clients, demonstrating expertise in social media marketing, and driving innovation within the Paid Social domain. Acting as a key figure within the Paid Media team, the individual will serve as a recognized authority in social marketing across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership in Paid Social: Develop and manage the Paid Social channel strategy in alignment with the company’s broader objectives for the UK market.
- Industry Expertise: Represent the organisation as a leading expert through public speaking, panels, and thought leadership, establishing a strong presence both internally and externally.
- Innovative Culture: Promote a test-and-learn environment, encouraging innovation and ensuring new insights are effectively integrated across campaigns.
- Team Development: Mentor and train team members, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to become future leaders in Paid Social.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and reviews of accounts to ensure the highest standards of execution and optimization.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with Tier 1 clients, offering strategic advice and acting as a trusted partner.
- Support for Business Growth: Contribute to business development efforts by leveraging expertise to secure new client partnerships.
- Best Practice Development: Establish and maintain Paid Social best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality work.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends and changes, ensuring strategies remain cutting-edge and competitive.
