Working with leading brands and agencies Our client is a forward-thinking, data-driven company looking to expand their Strategy team with a talented digital planner/strategist with good experience of audience planning. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of high-value projects, the business is seeking a Data Strategist to join their team, focusing on delivering innovative data-driven solutions for clients across various industries. The role: Dig into data sets to check if algorithms will work and see if they fit the brief Brainstorm and craft stories that hit the mark for client briefs, based on set goals Write simple, to-the-point internal briefs using research and creative ideas Take the lead in building strong, persuasive responses to briefs Deliver extra value for clients with custom stuff like workshops Help tackle big industry challenges by shaping strategic solutions, both in the UK and globally Support marketing content creation by researching data and coming up with fresh ideas Work across teams, especially with Business Intelligence, to help shape strategic outputs for the business Your profile: sgency strategy/planning experience – you’ve worked directly with brands and know how to chat with them. A solid background in audience planning – you get how to explore different audiences, figure out what makes them tick (and what splits them apart), and know what data helps brands reach them. The knack for reading between the lines – you don’t just take a brief at face value; you dig into what the client really wants. Storytelling skills – you can turn data into a clear, compelling audience story that ties everything together. Organised but creative – you’re detail-oriented but love thinking outside the box, with a naturally curious mindset. Confident presenter – whether it’s in-person or virtual, you’re comfortable pitching ideas to clients. Great communicator – you write and speak clearly, making complex stuff easy to grasp. A team player (and solo flyer) – you’re happy collaborating but can also take the reins on your own. Comfortable juggling priorities – you can handle shifting deadlines and manage projects without breaking a sweat. A strategic problem-solver – you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a track record of getting stuff done. Handy with PowerPoint & Excel – you know your way around slides and spreadsheets. Bonus points if you: Understand how to pull meaning from messy or multiple data sets (but no stress if not). Have experience in markets outside the UK (again, nice to have, not essential).
