Comms Planning Business Director – leading independent, full-service agency! - Multi-Channel

Location – London

Up to £75k DOE

An exciting Business Director role has arisen at one of the UK’s most exciting independent media agencies. They are part of a wider group which alongside their media team are also made up of creative, brand strategy and production teams making them truly full service.

They are in a very exciting period of growth and this role offers a great opportunity to help shape the direction of the agency. You will be offered the chance to be closer to the creative work and provided with a much more holistic view of communications.

They are looking for a talented Business Director who is ambitious, keen to play a key role in award winning / innovative work and be less silo’d in their approach.

As Business Director, you will lead one of the Client Planning teams and deliver high quality work whilst delivering excellent client leadership.

Your profile:

• A strong comms planning background established form a media agency setting
• An ability to form strong relationships with clients and be a trusted point of contact
• A passion for the craft of media planning
• A creative thinker who can implement a creative approach to media planning
• Strong commercial acumen
• Experience of nurturing and developing more junior members of a team

Key responsibilities:

• Drive best-in-class planning for your patch of clients
• Lead a Planning team of 6 and play a key role in helping more junior members to develop and progress
• Manage and build senior level client relationships
• Play a key role in driving the commercials across your clients / pod and growing accounts in terms of profitability
• Play a role in new business pitches
