Associate / Senior SEO Manager
The Opportunity:

A progressive yet established PR and Communications arm has created a brand new team, pioneering the way for protecting and enhancing the digital reputation of their high net worth clients, across Search, Social Media and AI.
As an Associate (this is Senior SEO Manager/ Associate Director level) within this team, you'll be at the forefront of the business' growth plans, with ample opportunities for progression as the team expands. They will champion your strengths and help shape their new offering while utilizing your technical and content and/or Onsite/Offsite SEO expertise.
The Company:
The PR and Digital team was born out of a leading law firm specialising in Libel, Defamation, and Privacy cases. Now the team comprises top voices and experts in PR and Digital Communications, dedicated to serving high-profile clients (these are highly confidential but are names you are bound to have heard of). Despite their legal background, their atmosphere is refreshingly collaborative and flat-structured, ensuring accessibility at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing tailored SEO strategies for clients, which includes creating comprehensive SEO roadmaps aligned with client goals. These strategies will integrate inputs from SEO, Performance Marketing, Social Media, and Content Marketing when necessary.
- Performing detailed assessments of both client and competitor content, as well as analyzing search engine and AI-generated results to shape actionable recommendations. This includes conducting technical SEO audits and website/content evaluations within specified deadlines.
- Providing clear, precise guidance and recommendations to colleagues, enabling them to advise clients effectively on SEO-related needs and considerations.
- Handling client requests and inquiries with confidence and accuracy. This involves delivering timely, high-quality reports, presentations, and briefings, often within tight deadlines.
- Crafting and presenting data and concepts in an engaging way to support digital strategies for clients and internal teams.
- Continuously improving internal processes within the SEO team, such as documentation, tool optimization, and workflow enhancements.
- Promoting SEO best practices throughout the organization by hosting workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions, and offering regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Guiding and mentoring junior team members, reviewing their work, and potentially taking on future line management responsibilities.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within an agency or consulting environment.
- Strong interest and experience in digital communications and resilience, including areas like generative AI, digital marketing, strategic communications, and digital analysis.
- Proficiency in explaining complex SEO concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience experimenting with or building AI models using platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity, and leveraging these tools to optimize SEO strategies and content production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling content and delivering strategic advice clearly.
- Proven track record of managing projects independently in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
- Ability to delegate tasks efficiently and support the growth and development of junior colleagues.
- Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to solving client challenges.
- Willingness to collaborate across different teams and departments
