They’re growing double digits YoY, investing heavily in tech, marketing, and talent, and consistently delivering strong profitability. Right now, they’re looking for an account management lead to join their high-growth journey in the spa and wellness space.

  • The sector is ripe for disruption: 58% of Spa stays are booked via traditional methods, direct with the Spa.
  • Noticing a disconnect in how customers book Spa breaks vs other travel experiences, the team created a marketplace which allows customers to compare spas UK wide.
  • The team have have been self funded from day one and re-invest heavily in their people, their marketing and their tech and website - which keeps them future facing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor managers to ensure they meet individual targets and align with the company’s KPIs. Provide strategic guidance, performance oversight, and foster a culture of collaboration and success.
  • Drive departmental KPIs related to profitability, product development, incremental revenue, and product delivery through in-house portals and XML connections.
  • Offer regular feedback to managers, analysing portfolio performance, revenue, margins, conversion rates, and market share growth strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Product and Commercial teams to optimise supply mix, inventory strategies, market penetration, and content quality standards.
  • Assist in meeting venue connection targets by onboarding new venues via XML.
  • Work closely with Commercial, Inventory, and Quality Control Managers to prioritise the right products, expand stock levels, and align with commercial objectives.
  • Source products in a cost-effective manner, maximising allocations, availability, and revenue.
  • Advise venues on optimising yield and enhancing their promotion on the website to maximise revenue.
  • Visit key partners and venues for account management, supporting Product Managers in contracting and negotiating commercial terms.

Requirements:

  • Experience in account development within a marketplace 
  • Strong people management skills and the ability to lead change through others with excellent communication.
  • Proven track record in securing competitive rates, exclusives, and additional revenue streams with strong negotiation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, a resilient and focused approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience with XML connections, channel managers, bed banks, and direct contracts is advantageous.
