Company Background:

 

Having recruited for this company since 2012, we have worked closely to help them build various teams - they are highly regarded in the programmatic space and have grown hugely over this period.

They are the Agency Trading Desk for a Major Global Media Agency Group and they partner with leading DSP’s to create and manage audiences across Display, Video, Mobile and Social.  

 

The Role:

 

As Programmatic Account Director, you will be responsible for being the programmatic lead with one major current client. This is a very strategic client services role which will encompass:

 

  • Client Lead – client lead responsible for delivering best-in class client service to the brand and internal agency stakeholders

  • Best Practices – drive best practices across local markets to ensure consistencies

  • Media Planning – working with clients to educate them on what the Trading Desk can do programmatically – for example, retargeting, prospecting, display, mobile, video etc

  • Consulting – being an evangelist/educator”, working closely with the client to educate them on audience targeting, data management and programmatic buying

  • Upselling - growing budgets from existing clients through identifying trends that may require embracing new strategies/tests

  • People Management – you’ll be charged with managing the team

 

Skills & Attributes:

 

This is a very varied role, therefore our client are looking for a highly organised account management professional, with a track record of closely partnering with clients. 

 

  • 5+ years Account Management experience in the Digital Media industry

  • 2 + years’ experience working within the Programmatic space (likely for a trading desk or media agency)

  • 1+ year people management experience

  • Strong knowledge of the DSP space - including AppNexus, DBM, MediaMath, Turn and the role data plays in programmatic media buying

  • A team player, passionate about the phenomenal growth of the programmatic landscape

 

Remuneration: £42-55k Base Salary + Bonus + Full Benefits Package
