Commercial Account Director – Video, Programmatic

£50K-£60k + OTE 

 

A hugely exciting opportunity for a senior level agency sales professional to join one the World’s leading online video advertising platforms, enabling advertisers, agencies and publishers to connect brands with targeted audiences.

The Role

As the​ ​Commercial Account Director the key focus for this role will be to educate, drive engagement, usage of the platform within a key network agency and develop new relationships within independents:

  • Serve as the lead contact for a major platform customer

  • Identify, target and build relationships with independent agencies with video spend

  • Build proposals, plans and forecast to deliver against revenue targets

  • Build and maintain a strong rapport within agency teams

  • Product expertise and evangelization 

  • Clearly differentiate position, benefits and differences as a platform company

  • Demonstrate technology across supply and demand side businesses

  • Drive commercial performance through adoption products, fee revenues, up-sell to new product solutions

  • Regularly attend events, client socials and act as the face of the UK business

 

Profile Required

A high-energy, charismatic senior level individual who has proven experience of influencing senior level decision makers in agencies.

  • Excellent contacts on the demand-side of the industry, ideally within Starcom, Zenith and Blue 449

  • Ability to drive forward agency relationships at a senior level

  • Willing to work in a small team and be flexible

  • Sales focused and happy to go out and win the business

  • Strong experience gained in a senior position in a digital sales business

  • Thorough understanding of the TV / Video advertising process and associated technologies

  • Strong leadership characteristics along with a charismatic personality and ability to inspire people
